Grove Cottage

Grove Cottage is a ground-floor cottage on a working farm near Folkestone, built with sustainability in mind. The whole place is yours alone—two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area. A kingsize bed is in the main bedroom; the second has a single. The shower room has a cubicle shower. Everything needed for a self-catering stay is here: electric heating, bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi are all included, along with parking for up to three cars on site.

The cottage opens onto an enclosed patio garden with seating, and twenty metres away is a small field where guests can play ball games or simply wander. Bikes can be stored in the external utility, which also has a washing machine. You're surrounded by fields where the farm's horses and sheep graze—a genuine farming setting, but only twenty minutes' drive from Canterbury, Folkestone and Ashford, and within reach of the coast. Stone Street is nearby for exploring on foot. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and full-size fridge, so cooking proper meals is straightforward rather than relying on takeaways.

No smoking in the property. The cottage does not accommodate hen or stag parties.
