Les Quatre Vents is a single-storey property on the Dungeness shingle peninsula, where a flat landscape of rare plants and migratory birds stretches toward the sea. The whole cottage is yours alone, with two bedrooms—one with a three-quarter double bed and ensuite shower, one with two single beds—and a family bathroom. A living and dining room with TV and DVD player, and a kitchen equipped for cooking, sit on the ground floor alongside a patio garden with furniture and private parking.
Dungeness has a particular character: the designated Nature Reserve holds a bird observatory, while the surrounding area is dotted with wooden houses, working lighthouses, and the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Light Railway (which runs within 100 yards). The coastal setting means a short walk to the beach. Electricity and bed linen are included; the cottage has central heating and no smoking is permitted. A pub and tea rooms stand roughly a quarter-mile away, with a shop at a mile's distance.
