We stayed a few days and had a room with a view which was amazing. Food, really good menu for Breakfast & dinner with good portions. Overall the hotel is clean,service is good, all staff happy to help. We enjoyed our stay, shame it wasn't for longer.

The resteraunt staff were exceptional and really friendly, excellent choice of food, we were on a self drive holiday and as soon as we checked in we wanted to change room as very small not enough room to store suitcases,and not enough wardrobe space and at the rear of the hotel I'm afraid looking abit tired tried to change but had no luck with the young man on reception. As far as location if you didn't have a car it would be a long walk on your free day. There is a bus stop opposite but buses rare and if there are a lot of people it's a good 2miles walk. Into Fort William.Be aware that there is no lift in the Hotel.

Staff are exceptional, ordered a different breakfast from the menu (was included) and came in seconds. The hotel is really old fashioned but the room itself was very clean and everyone attended us really really well

Staff are lovely and friendly, but can't work miracles. Our room was small but comfortable, so long as you don't have to use the bathroom. Large bathroom with only a towel warmer for heat. We stayed over Christmas and it was always frosty. The bathroom was so cold and as soon as you opened the door the cold filled the bedroom. Public area's apart from the reception and the quiet lounge were also cold. Food was ok. Take Thermal clothes for your stay if visiting in winter.
