About Travelodge Fort William
Walk into a room at Travelodge Fort William and you get a straightforward en-suite setup with drinks available in-room, spread across a compact two-floor building of 60 rooms. It's a no-frills base rather than a destination in itself, and some rooms run on the small side, but they're kept clean and comfortable, which makes the price-to-value trade a fair one for anyone passing through the Highlands.
The hotel sits on High Street in Fort William, with shops, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep and further eateries nearby for evening meals. A lift serves the upper floor, reception operates around the clock, and there's an electric vehicle charge point along with free on-site parking, allocated first-come, first-served once you register your vehicle at reception. Staff are noted for being helpful, which matters when you're juggling early starts for the hills.
Pets are welcome, useful for anyone walking the West Highland Way with a dog in tow. Ben Nevis and Loch Eil are both within reach, and the surrounding area offers fishing, horse riding and walking country, making this a practical stopover for outdoor days rather than a place built around its rooms.

It’s ok! Couldn’t be a better location if doing the WHW given its 10 yards from the finish line. However, it does have the prison cell feel and my room didn’t have a beautiful view! Also, I’d hoped to leave my luggage for a few hours but reception was simply closed! Try and get a room on the top floor or you’ll feel like the people above you are coming through the ceiling!

Excellent hotel at the center of the town. We are amazed with service provided by the receptionist- Jean. The checkin was smooth and quick, helped with public parking available in the town for our car. The room was clean, credit to Irene. Lot of restaurants and sovenior shops within 100 meters of the hotel. Highly recommend for stay at Fort William.

This Travelodge is great. It's a little more pricey given the location but worth it to be located on Fort William's High Street. The staff were friendly, the rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. The only thing to keep in mind is there are no eatery options at this hotel but there are plenty of excellent cafés and restaurants a stone's throw away, so it's not really an issue.

We enjoyed our visit to Fort William to join a steam train excursion. We stayed at Travelodge for one night on 22nd April and were warmly greeted on arrival by Jean, the receptionist. Jean was most helpful during our short stay, nothing was too much trouble, and we enjoyed her friendly approach. We would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone visiting. Thank you Jean.
