Puddingstone Cottage sits in Gartmore village, deep within the national park and surrounded by countryside that draws cyclists and walkers year-round. The Black Bull pub—a community-owned venue—is a one-minute walk away. The cottage itself spreads across a single floor, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four guests. A rear garden provides outdoor space, and there's dedicated bike storage for those tackling the local trails.
The main living areas occupy the heart of the property: a kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob and microwave for proper cooking, plus a separate dining area, and a spacious sitting room with Freeview TV and DVDs. One bedroom has a kingsize bed with access to a walk-in shower; the other, a double bed, comes with an ensuite bathroom. Underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The cottage is accessed via a path at the rear, next to the village hall.
This works well for groups wanting their own space—it's a whole property to yourselves—and for anyone using Gartmore as a base for exploring the park or visiting nearby Aberfoyle. Smoking is not permitted.
