Porthmadog's harbour sits on the Glaslyn Estuary, surrounded by things worth doing. The Ffestiniog Railway runs steam trains from the town itself—a 25-mile heritage line famous among rail enthusiasts and families. Black Rock Sands lies within reach, offering miles of beach, dunes and rock pools to explore at low tide. Portmeirion, an Italian-style village with subtropical gardens designed by Clough Williams-Ellis, is a short drive away. Inland, Blaenau Ffestiniog has Zip World and Bounce Below for those after something more energetic, plus downhill mountain bike trails. Harlech Castle sits further down the coast.
Anchor Watch is a first-floor apartment with two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with two singles—and a shower room. The living space opens onto a balcony overlooking the estuary. The kitchen has an electric cooker, induction hob, microwave and fridge; dining happens at the breakfast bar. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is parking for one car on site. The apartment is no smoking. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
