Fron Cottage

Fron Cottage is a stone-built property positioned on sloping ground above the Dwyrd Estuary, a short walk from Portmeirion village. Everything is on one level: two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a shower room, plus a combined living and dining space with a kitchen. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are provided, along with heating and electricity; oil central heating is charged separately October to April. Parking is on site, and the cottage takes one dog at no extra cost.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. From the patio garden you look across fields and the estuary toward Harlech; there is also a travel cot and highchair available. Portmeirion itself—the eccentric, colourful village created from architectural salvage—lies 400 yards away and draws most visitors to the area. Walks lead through the wooded grounds to a small cove with estuary views. The long beaches of Borth y Gest, Harlech and Black Rock Sands (where you can drive onto the sand) are all a short drive away. The cottage does not permit smoking.
