Porthmadog is a working harbour town where the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railways still operate heritage services inland towards Caernarfon, Beddgelert and beyond. Black Rock Sands stretches for miles along the coast nearby, backed by dunes and rock pools. The area also has Portmeirion's Italian-style village, Harlech Castle across the water, and Zip World and other adventure activities around Blaenau Ffestiniog inland. Walking routes and water sports are scattered throughout the region.
Surveyors Place is a one-bedroom cottage sleeping two, with a ground-floor living and dining room that has a woodburning stove and Freeview, plus a kitchen equipped for everyday cooking. Upstairs is a double bedroom and a shower room. The essentials—electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are all included. One car can park on site. The cottage is a whole property to yourselves, and one well-behaved pet stays free of charge. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00. Smoking is not permitted inside.
