Ty Harbwr

Porthmadog's harbour and seafront shops are on your doorstep from Ty Harbwr, a four-bedroom cottage that sits on the edge of the town with quick access to the Welsh coast. The property spans three floors and sleeps nine, making it practical for larger families or groups who want their own independent space without the formality of a hotel. Each bedroom is different—one holds a single and a kingsize bed, another has two singles, and the remaining two contain a double and a kingsize respectively. There are two bathrooms across the floors: one with a bath and shower, the other with a cubicle shower. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included.

Downstairs, the kitchen has what you need for everyday cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and a coffee machine—with French doors that lead directly into a small garden where you can sit outside. The heart of the cottage is a dining room designed for proper family meals, where everyone can gather. Beyond that are two living rooms, each with a smart TV. One dog is welcome to stay at no extra charge. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.

From here, Porthmadog's local shops and cafés are an easy walk, and the harbour is close enough for an evening stroll. Snowdonia and the surrounding countryside lie within reach, making this a natural base for exploring inland or sticking to the coast.
