Waen Dolgellau is a rural stone cottage accessed via a mile-long gravel track through oak woodland, with views toward Cadair Idris. The approach is steep with a hairpin turn, and a 4x4 vehicle is essential, particularly in winter. The property sits within a working farm, giving it a genuine countryside setting far from towns and traffic.
Inside, the open-plan living and dining space has a log burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a freestanding bath, a WC and basin. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, there is a firepit for gathering under open sky, a porch for quieter moments, and an outdoor shower. Private parking is on site. The cottage sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking.
Dolgellau village is a short drive away for supplies. Within reach are lakes, waterfalls and beaches for day trips. The setting suits those seeking genuine isolation and willing to travel slowly to reach it.
