About The Harrogate Inn
The Harrogate Inn is a substantial 4-star hotel with 95 rooms on Ripon Road, built to a scale that gives it a full range of guest facilities rather than the intimacy of a smaller inn. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and there are family and accessible options along with a lift for easy access throughout the building.
Food and drink are a strong point, with a restaurant and bar on site, a snack bar, packed lunches available for days out, and breakfast that draws particular praise. Drinks can be brought to the room, and there's a garden with outdoor seating for warmer days. The hotel welcomes dogs without fuss, a policy that comes up again and again in guest feedback alongside comments on the helpful staff. Some reports note that rooms aren't always kept in the best condition, so it's worth bearing in mind if a pristine finish matters to you.
Beyond the hotel, Harrogate Turkish Baths and Valley Gardens are both close by, and the surrounding area suits walking and cycling as well as evenings out at nearby pubs and restaurants. Parking is available nearby for a charge, and business travellers are catered for with meeting rooms and general business services.

What guests say
Was a bit apprehensive reading some of the reviews however this hotel did not disappoint. We had a cosy double room which was adequate and value for money. Yes the bathroom was small but it was a cosy double room. Room and bathroom were clean. Bar area and outside areas are spectacular. No problems at all with breakfast and for the price we paid you really had no room to complain. Everything was hot and tasty and was served in the beautifully decorated restaurant. The only downside of the stay was the lift being out of order. We did know this after reading previous reviews however a quick email from the hotel would have been nice. Would we return ? Most definitely and already looking at dates for August ☀️

Just had a brilliant stay! The inn was super comfy, my room was a great size with a cosy bed, and they really made my dog feel welcome, which is a big plus. The staff were friendly and gave us a warm welcome, plus the check-in and check-out process was smooth and personal. The cleanliness was top-notch too! Can’t wait to come back again!

I recently stayed for a night and had a pretty solid experience overall. The check-in was smooth, and I appreciated the warm welcome from the staff. My room was clean and comfortable, but I did have a bit of trouble sleeping due to a barking dog nearby. Despite that, I enjoyed the stay and found good value for the price. Good breakfast. Would definitely think about returning for another visit!

Excellent location! Car park was full when we were there, but nearby on street parking was only £2 more. Bathroom was super shiny and clean. Bedroom was comfy and modern. Sound between rooms was quiet, however you could hear people talking in the hallways very clearly. Breakfast was top quality.
