What visitors say
We had such a lovely stay at Grizedale Campsite and will definitely be back. The site is really well looked after, with clean facilities, two spacious fields, and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s surrounded by beautiful woodland, making it the perfect base for walks, bike rides, or just relaxing outdoors. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything was well organised from check-in to check-out. We especially loved how quiet it was in the evenings while still being close to plenty of things to do in Grizedale Forest and the Lake District. The tree swing over the river was a massive hit for everyone in our party from the kids to the adults! A fantastic campsite for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

Great stay here, Arthur was a lovely host who was happy to stop for a chat and made us feel very welcome. All the facilities you might need and hot showers were a bonus. Good field to camp in with fire pits and more secluded sections if you wanted a bit more privacy Local pub was great too, good beers and friendly staff and locals Will be back soon Lily and Joe

Amazing campsite and such lovely owners!! No where else took our booking since we are a group of young adults but grizedale campsite did and thank you so much for it!! It was a great location with lots of walks and a pub nearby, and the overall vibes of the campsite were great. Arthur is so lovely and helpful :)

I love this place. The owners are great. There is a shower and toilets, washing facilities, buy wood and kindling on site. There's a pub up the road if you fancy a beer. They allow fire pits, as long as it's not directly only the ground. Big bins to put your rubbish in. So peaceful too. Highly recommend ❤️
