About Best Western London Heathrow Ariel Hotel

A hearty breakfast is one of the strongest reasons to book the Best Western London Heathrow Ariel Hotel, with guests regularly singling it out alongside the on-site restaurant, bar and snack bar for drinks or a bite before an early flight. Room service and drinks in the room are also available for anyone who would rather not leave their floor.

The hotel itself has 184 rooms across three floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, mini bar and free WiFi, and accessible rooms are available. Some rooms show their age, but the overall package is straightforward and reasonably priced, with rates from GBP 49 to 250 depending on dates. Extras include laundry service, luggage storage, business services and meeting rooms, making it workable for both leisure stopovers and work trips, and it operates as adults-only accommodation.

Set on Bath Road in Hayes, the hotel is geared towards convenient airport access, with parking available on-site for a fee and transfer options for Heathrow. Outdoor seating gives a spot to unwind, and pubs, bars and restaurants nearby offer further choices for eating out. Staff are generally described as friendly, though service can be inconsistent, so it suits travellers who want a practical, well-located base rather than a polished luxury stay.

The whole area has a weird vibe from the restaurants to the homes and the hotels, all of them. No one is particularly friendly. From the moment we set foot into this hotel it felt like a transaction. Very old building. It's a "4 star" but the 4th star is dangling off the building and the 3rd star's light is flickering. It needs a serious upgrade. Our room was clean though and given we stayed here for one night it did what it needed to do. The restaurant service was very slow and it wasn't busy. It just felt like they didn't really care. The shuttle is fine. We tried booking an Uber in advance and the prices were sky high for a 1.5 mile drive. They reset in the morning but that was weird, almost like they wanted you to book their shuttle which isn't too much more than an Uber but still. We booked 3rd party and had a rate that was about £40 for the night. If they're charging you more than £50 you can definitely do better, this hotel is not worth that. I did what it needed to and it's proximity to the airport is great. That's about the best I can say.

I paid a very reasonable price so was happy with my stay. The linen was lovely, bed comfortable. The lobby and resturant were really nice. Had a great meal. The only problem was the fire alarm went off twice when I was fast asleep at night. And they forgot to put milk in my room. The room wasn't that sound proof so take earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently stayed at Best Western Plus Academy Plaza Hotel and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is in a great location and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our room was clean, spacious, well maintained, and had all the facilities you would expect. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep after a busy day exploring Dublin. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The restaurant was fantastic, with a great menu and excellent quality throughout. The meals were well presented, full of flavour, and served by friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice and a great start to the day. The staff throughout the hotel were welcoming, professional, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting. Overall, this is an excellent hotel offering comfortable rooms, great food, and fantastic service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. We would certainly stay here again on a future trip. 🏨🍽️⭐🍀

Lovely hotel and service was really good. Staff really attentive and kept us updated as we arrived early, gave us the options on rooms and was honest. Even down to telling us that one of the rooms was small for a double - but it was only for one night. The Indian restaurant on site - the food is to die for. 💯 recommend to try the food.
