What visitors say

Helen Cais

A friendly and welcoming place for children and families, with live experiences free of gimmicks. It is a real working farm where children can be close to animals under kindly guidance. Stories for the young, history for the older people. Much education and interest. Highly recommended.

Lovely afternoon with my 20 month old baby boy. The animals were all content and obviously well cared for. There were baby piglets, which were so so cute and it was all set amongst lovely grounds. It’s on my doorstep and I can’t believe this is the first time I went. I loved the 1940’s cottages, steeped in nostalgia and my son adored all the tractors and the play area, which was super clean and had plenty of variety inside and out. Lastly.. I struggled to get him off the mini pedal tractors, which were a very big hit!! We didn’t eat from any of the food places, but there were plenty of picnic areas. I’d recommend for a lovely family day out.
