Nice open area with well identified cut grass paths to walk around up to the woods. Perfect for the dog walkers as it's very safe and the dog can get into the river at a few places for a cooling splash. Nice wood carvings dotted around too. Great for an hours leisurely stroll.

My dogs love this place, especially the area where the river/stream has a spot where kids & dogs can play. But beware when it's been raining, the area gets very muddy and slippery. There is a small wooded area next to the good size car park, with pathways going in different directions. Amongst all the pathways you will find wooden sculptures, and picnic benches. Sadly there are no toilets, the nearest ones are at the garden centre round the corner. A great place to take kids for a nature walk, picnic or to search for the sculptures. Good for dog walking or just a walk by yourself. Go and visit and see what I mean.

Went to Baulk woods for the first time in ages. Lovely place for a walk. Lots of different routes to choose from depending on what you wanted. All the paths that we went on were well kept. Some were just cut grass but not overgrown. Lots of carved wooden animals dotted about. The car park was on the small side, might get busy at peak times.

The wood is great for walking dogs on or off the lead. Also to take the family for a walk and a play. And the woods and pathways are look after very well.
