2nd time come here and still love it! It's such a beautiful place to see my favourite lavender and also sunflowers. This year the sunflowers field has a path to walk through, visitors can easily take photos embedded by the flowers. The beautiful scene of lavender sea reminds me the trip to Hokkaido, except that we don't have a snow mountain behind.

Large variety of lavender fields and a sizeable sunflower field too just outside of Hitchin’s main town. A nice experience and well-kept place overall with several amenities, but at its essence it is just a large lavender field. When we went it was quite heavy with tourists too, and lots of photos being taken for social media, so be aware of that when visiting if you are more of a local. Cafe and small room about its history on site too.

The place is easy to get to. The car park is big enough although a bit dusty. The restaurant was very nice, clean, with an indoor and outdoor part. There is a lavender shop too. The lavender part looks very pretty with strips of sunflowers.

This was our second visit to Hotchin Lavender Farm, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. We spent a relaxing day wandering through the beautiful lavender fields, taking in the stunning scenery and hand-picking fresh lavender. As it's still early in the season, some of the lavender plants are not yet fully grown or in full bloom, but the farm remains a wonderful place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a slower pace of life. Sometimes, the simple moments are the most memorable. I highly recommend for family who want to take their children out for a day. Plenty of picnic area available.
