Booked easily on the app. Not very clear that there are two sessions a day. 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm, whichever time you book, you can enter at anytime during that session. For example, 11am hr slot booked on the app, but you can enter at 9am and stay until 1pm. Main car park and overflow car park were full at 9.30am. Cafe cannot cope with the amount of people wanting food and drinks etc. Only one person serving and one person cooking! I’ve still given it 5 stars as it’s a brilliant pool to cool down in during the heat. I’ll definitely be back.

Used the Lido today, shocked by how grotty it was, especially since it's not even been open a week and surely they clean the pool bottom when it's empty. Still enjoyed a very warm swim at 29°. Shame the showers inside were too hot to use, and shame about the man in the car park moaning that it was only for members and what were those of us without a car sticker doing there (it's not a members car park.)

Wow wow wow! What an incredible, heated, 50m outdoor pool. Lovely, traditional, 1930s vintage art deco, accessed through a modern leisure centre (with indoor pool). We booked an early morning lane swim via the everyone active app. The session was for an hour, but there was no rush to leave (apparently we were welcome to stay all morning). We used the indoor changing facilities which were clean, hot showers, and lockers available (£1 refundable). The walk out to the pool is fairly long (up some steps or an accessible ramp), so recommend wearing sliders. There are outdoor changing rooms and lockers in the 1930s building, which is slightly closer to the pool. The pool is heated to around 25° and there were 4 lifeguards on when we visited, constantly fishing leaves etc from the pool on what was a fairly breezy day. Went for a sausage sandwich at the pool cafe after our swim - tasty 😋 On site parking (£1 for 3 hours, refundable at the reception after your swim). Smashing, well organised facility which is well worth a visit.

Visited the lido on a sunny day in late spring. Water temperature is just right: a little chilly at first but you quickly get used to it. The pools seemed well maintained and clean. Changing facilities are a little dog-eared, but that's to be expected given the high volume of visitors. Sun loungers available to hire (just let a member of staff know when you arrive, and they'll bring them out to you). Only real criticism is that the café is a bit sad and uninspiring. But overall, an enjoyable experience.

Some reviews mention the facilities can be poorly maintained.
