About Firs Hotel
A sizeable house-turned-hotel on Bedford Road, Firs Hotel has the feel of a converted period property rather than a corporate chain stop, with a garden and outdoor seating giving it a homely edge in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in room, and family rooms for those travelling with children. Breakfast is served each morning, free WiFi runs throughout, and staff are on hand at all hours thanks to 24 hour reception. Free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward, a useful point given the property's residential setting away from a town centre car park.
Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all within easy reach nearby, alongside local entertainment options, so guests are not reliant on the hotel alone for evenings out. Hitchin's transport links and attractions are close by too, making Firs Hotel a practical base for exploring the town and the wider Hertfordshire area.
