Perfect Playland

I am extremely disappointed with the birthday party service provided for my boys yesterday. I do not usually raise complaints; however, due to the number of issues encountered, I feel it is necessary. We arrived approximately ten minutes prior to the scheduled 1:00 pm start time, however the hall was only partially set up. We were required to wait on the stairs for approximately twelve minutes before being allowed entry. When the door was eventually opened, Spider-Man was not wearing his mask, and several children saw his face. Additionally, I overheard him commenting to the other entertainer that his attendance was last minute and that he was not originally scheduled to be there. I found this unprofessional and inappropriate. Overall, the party appeared poorly organised and lacking structure. While I appreciate that flexibility is often required when managing younger children, there should still be a basic level of planning and engagement. Unfortunately, a significant portion of the two-hour party was spent colouring, which I found to be unacceptable given the duration and cost of the package. Although there were a few enjoyable moments, they accounted for only a small portion of the overall event. There were also safety concerns. At one point, the entertainer suggested a balloon game that was unsuitable for a mixed-age group. Several children collided and fell as a result, and I had to intervene to separate the age groups, as the entertainer did not appear to recognise the safety risk. The door was not closed each time the entertainer went downstairs to get something which was a great safety risk for the toddlers. I had to shut the door on several occasions. With regard to catering, pork was served despite my clear request that no pork be included due to religious reasons. There was also an insufficient quantity of juice and vegetables for the number of children present. In addition, bubbles, which were included in the agreed package, were not provided. Throughout the event, it appeared that the main entertainer was unprepared and disengaged, giving the impression that this was a last-minute arrangement with little prior planning. Spider-Man seemed to do his best with the children in the given circumstances. I also appreciate the perfect playland staff for providing a few spare party bags however this does not make up for the disappointing experience. The response I recieved from management was shocking. This was my sons’ first birthday party in several years, and they were extremely excited. While we did our best to make the most of the situation, the service provided fell well below expectations. In my view, the cost of the party does not reflect the level of service received, and even the most basic elements seemed difficult to deliver. I raise these concerns not only due to our own experience, but also because I would not want another family to encounter similar issues. Perfect playland as a whole is great for soft play dates but I would not recommend once apon a perfect party package is booked.

AMAZING! Thank you to Chelsea & the team, you did a great job for our Daughter's 4th Birthday. I would recommend Perfect Playland for anyone who wants a easy, fuss free and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Food, drinks, amenities, everything was spot on. Nothing was too much of an ask. Very welcoming and friendly. Spiderman gets a big thumbs up too!

Highly recommend! - I booked my little ones birthday party at Perfect Playland and the whole process was seemless. The team here are friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our party memorable. Lovely play area, all of the children had a fantastic time in the soft play and loved the character visit too. There was a good selection of food, drinks (hot and cold). Good amount of parking outside the building which was handy for us and our guests. Communication was great from online booking, phone calls, throughout the day of the party and on departure. Couldn't thank the team enough for making our little girls day amazing! Thank you!

Had a lovely party at Perfect Playland, so nice that everything is done for you and even got party bags and a balloon. Staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating for vegan food. Would 100% recommend it and do it again for the following years
