About The Plough Inn Campsite
Tucked in the Herefordshire countryside near Hereford, The Plough Inn Campsite offers a relaxed, no-frills base for exploring the Wye Valley and surrounding farmland. Campers appreciate the friendly welcome and the freedom to light campfires under the stars, while well-behaved dogs are warmly received. Basic facilities—showers, toilets, drinking water and WiFi—cover the essentials, though there's no chemical disposal point, so tourers with cassette loos should plan accordingly.
The attached country pub makes it easy to swap camp cooking for a pint and a meal, and families find the informal atmosphere suits younger children. It's the sort of unpretentious spot that works well for a weekend away without over-complicating things.

Stayed one night in a lovely twin room. Clean room and comfortable beds. Great shower. No breakfast but Stephanie recommended a nearby campsite that did lovely breakfast rolls. I can highly recommend this place.

Visited The Plough for a overnight stay. We were meeting up with good friends for a 60th birthday party. Warmly welcomed on arrival my staff. Old country pub, rustic but charming. Bedroom adequate with all amenities you would expect. The landlady and staff were so approachable and checked in regularly with us to make sure we had everything that we needed and at mealtimes, that the food was ok. We would definitely stay again.

To day we have had a fantastic meal at the Plough Inn with the village over 60s club, I had a Roast pork dinner with all the trimmings, and a PeachMalaba for after , Steph and her staff made us all very welcome, Kim the chef and her kitchen staff went all out for us , we are all looking forward to our next visit. Thank you everyone making our lunch a little special. Kind Regards Ann .
