About Premier Inn Hereford City Centre

This Premier Inn sits close to Hereford railway station, making it a practical choice for anyone arriving by train or needing an early start. Rooms follow the chain's familiar formula of straightforward, comfortable bedrooms with a simple restaurant attached for breakfast and evening meals.

It is a level walk of around ten minutes into High Town and the cathedral quarter, so guests without a car are not left stranded, while the hotel's own car park suits those driving in. The hotel does not aim for character or individuality, but delivers consistent, predictable standards at a lower price than most of the city's independent hotels.

It suits overnight business stops, family visits and anyone prioritising value and location over atmosphere.

there was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the room, and the overall cleanliness was poor. The wallls were dirty. The furniture was dusty and The room did not feel fresh or properly cleaned, which made my stay very uncomfortable. The bathroom was horrible and smelly and was not properly cleaned . We had to leave early despite having meetings later on because we couldn’t stand the terrible state of the room. Staff could do with some training, rude and dismissive. The reception area is empty even when you come in to eat you wait for a long time and it’s only when you sit yourselves down they scramble from nowhere asking if you booked for breakfast. Told us we had booked the wrong breakfast and when I asked to pay for the hot breakfast they dismissed me and I had to take two children outside of the hotel for breakfast

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Hereford for a friend's wedding. It was a perfect location, close to the shops and the town. Easy parking. Very accessible. The staff were lovely, I'd especially like to thank Ali and Laura. Ali helped me check in, explained the hotel bar / food service and gave some history of the hotel. A very friendly and helpful staff member . Thank you to Laura, also extremely helpful and friendly , dealt with my questions and enquiries quickly and with a smile ! The cleaning team are fabulous, up early and keeping the rooms fresh. Our room was extremely clean and tidy. Plenty of towels, toiletries and toilet roll , thank you Karen. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you to all of the staff at Premier Inn Hereford :)

We usually choose Premier Inn for short stays due to convenience and reliability. This location was ideal for a nearby wedding, with easy parking and a smooth check-in. However, despite booking a Premier Plus room, it didn’t meet expectations. The room wasn’t very clean, mould on the bathroom ceiling and seals, a clogged sink, marks on the walls, and noticeable dust around the room. The bath felt outdated compared to a shower which we've had in other PI's. Only one towel was left out for two guests, the bed wasn’t made particularly well, and the pillows were quite flat. The TV didn’t work due to no signal, and the air conditioning was very noisy overnight. Overall, an okay stay for the price, but for Premier Plus we expected better cleanliness and fully working amenities. Hopefully this room can have some attention for future guests (222)

This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton.
