Of all the hotels in Hull city centre I feel this is the best quality and value for money . It has no “ budget” features of corners being cut . It’s prices may match this but on the two nights I stayed it’s rooms were only 10£ a night more than the markedly inferior holiday inn express next door . Rooms are excellent quality , clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful . Buffet breakfast and bar food were outstanding. I was truly surprised at the quality for the price overall. It also has its own car park.

We visited today for an afternoon tea via a Groupon Deal. Very reasonably priced, it featured sandwiches, scones, cakes, buns, sausage rolls, a glass of fizz and coffee too. The venue was upstairs in the Lexington (for those who remember, the Hilton is situated on what was the old LA's nightclub - Lexington Avenue) so the fact we had our tea in the Lexington suite was kind of a bit of nostalgia for us though obviously looked completely different. We were greeted as we stepped out the lift by Laura who was absolutely lovely and looked after us from the minute we arrived until we left. She was warm, attentive and balanced being available when we needed her but also didn't hover over us either. Great afternoon treat, we'd definitely do it again.

The hotel was lovely, the staff areally friendly too. The car park is an issue. The car park you pay for separately which is overpriced, the machine didn't work the week I was there so I had to download an app which didn't recognize my reg so I could pay for parking. I spoke to the people on the hotel, they advised it would be fine not to pay but now I have a £30 parking ticket and a £35 admin charge on top of it, the machine onsite didn't work the app wasn't working either, none of within my control and now being charged 65pound on top of that. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel

A great hotel a short walk from the railway station and city centre attractions. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming and my room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I had a lovely stay and will definitely choose this hotel again should I return to the area in the future.
