About ibis Hull City Centre
ibis Hull City Centre occupies a modern building on Osborne Street just off Ferensway, five minutes' walk from Hull Paragon Interchange and the Bonus Arena, and within easy reach of St Stephen's shopping centre and the Old Town beyond. It is a reliable, no-frills option for anyone who wants a comfortable base without paying for extras they will not use.
Rooms are climate-controlled and functional rather than characterful, in keeping with the ibis brand, with private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen televisions throughout. An on-site bar serves drinks and snacks around the clock, and the hotel's 24-hour front desk suits guests arriving on evening trains or early flights.
The hotel's real strength is its location: almost everything in central Hull, from the Museums Quarter to the marina and Fruit Market, is within a fifteen to twenty-minute walk, and the M62 is a short drive away for anyone arriving by car.
What guests say
On the edge of Hull city centre within easy walking distance with the police station a few minutes away. Security is good in that there is 24-hour reception, two people usually in attendance. You need your room pass to access the hotel after 11 p.m. and lifts to the rooms. I enjoyed a really good night's sleep in that there was hardly any noise and there are black out curtains. The ensuite shower room is waterproof and well designed in that there was no damp build up and the extractor fan was hardly discernable. There are wall mounted liquid soap and conditioning shampoo dispensers. There are plenty of hangers for clothes, shelves, desk area, chair, good flat screen wall-fixed television, white bed linen and towels. There is an "Eat all you like" breakfast served on the ground floor. The interior decor is best suited for business purposes. Good value compared to others, all aspects considered.

Very affordable place to stay, but doesnt compromise on quality. The room was comfy and spotless. 24 hour food and drink was very cheap especially considering the accessibility and quality. I literally could not find a single fault with the room or hotel as a whole. Staff were very very friendly and accomodating, able to help me with last minute changes such as check in and check out times, and offering to hold luggage.

This is a budget hotel so rooms are very basic & tired. However the shower in the pod style bathroom has good pressure with plenty of hot water, and it was quiet overnight. Located less than 5 minutes walk to Wetherspoons, where we enjoyed breakfast. 10-15 mins walk to the old town with lots of historic pubs and free museums. Thank you to the very helpful and friendly staff who did their upmost to resolve an issue - A credit to the hotel & a reason why we'd have no hesitation returning.
