Having been to Bakewell Christmas Market many time (not last year though) and thoroughly enjoying the experience. I invited my friend and her daughter to join me today (Sunday 16 November 2025) .... this was their first time..... we all had a very memorable day and left with bags full of special and unique presents that will make Christmas Day more special. Yes traffic and parking can be a bit of a nightmare mid afternoon BUT we were early birds arriving at 09.45hrs and were guided by friendly helpful car park attendants to our space. The market stalls were impressively Artisan with a wide selection of products at reasonable prices....hence our full bags. I was proud to be part of my friends' first experience one they will repeat. Thank you Bakewell and WELL DONE....you have not disappointed me yet

We visit Bakewell quite regularly and always look forward to xmas market. The last one in 2024 was so disappointing. Where were the craft stalls? It was all food and drink.I was expecting to buy xmas pressies as I normally have but the unusual stalls werent there! Please sort it out and bring the craft stalls back.

Went yesterday - I like Bakewell very much and will go again in summer but never to the Xmas market again. The stalls were nice but it took our coach 50 minutes to get from the high Street to the car park, guessing about half a mile. The main downer though were toilets! There was a 40 minute queue to get in - come on Bakewell, if your expecting that volume of people hire some porta loos!!

Parked at the Agricultural Centre. A fair wait but was still able to park in a designated field for £5. Might have been more challenging if the field was soggy. Plenty of sheep poo to avoid. Market itself was in the co-op carpark. Lots of food stalls - some more expensive than others. Stalls reached as far as the bridge to the carpark. Other stalls were somewhat repetitive. Difficult to see everything as it was fairly busy. The rest of Bakewell was also busy with long queues blocking the pathways for local buses and a constant queue of cars stationary through the town. Would we go to the Christmas market again? Probably not, it wasn't the worst one we've been to, but regularly come to the area so will visit Bakewell again, perhaps when less busy.
