What visitors say
Amazing Theatre in Leeds Centre We went to Millennium Square many times, but we didn't know there is a nice local theatre in Leeds centre. We enjoyed our little 8-year-old friend performance in Peter Pan last Friday. The theatre was cosy, the vibe was great and their staff were friendly. We had a memorable Friday night. However, I lost my locker key and I wasn't sure where I dropped it. The next day, I checked with the theatre ticket counter for lost and found. I can't believe they brought back my key, just made my tears in my eyes, speechless. Their staff are kind and helpful. We will see you guys again in this lovely local theatre in Leeds, many thanks. We saw a brilliantly performed production of Sunday in the Park With George at the carriage works last night. The leads were excellent and ably supported by a large cast who did justice to Sondheim's musical. The singing was universally strong behind the orchestra which itself was spot on; the set design and direction were excellent also. We're looking forward to The Pirates of Penzance next year.

Lovely intimate feeling in this theatre. Bar area very nice with good views of the square. Staff friendly and helpful. Seen lots of brilliant shows here. Sadly, the seats are not comfortable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Lovely Surprise at the Carriageworks Theatre The Carriageworks is a great, cosy little theatre with a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were brilliant from start to finish—friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a good time. Even the bar prices were excellent, which is always a pleasant bonus. I went to see the Pinocchio pantomime and, being an amateur production, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The quality of the whole show was far better than I anticipated: lively performances, great energy, and a real sense of fun throughout. Accessibility-wise, the theatre is a bit of a tight squeeze when navigating in a wheelchair, but both the staff and the other audience members were incredibly polite and accommodating. Their kindness made the experience much easier and added to the overall enjoyment of the visit. A charming venue, a great show, and a genuinely positive experience. I’d happily return.
