This converted barn sits in a quiet country lane near Shanklin, with public footpaths crisscrossing the surrounding area. The property has been refurbished throughout and comes as a complete rental—all to yourself. It sleeps five: one kingsize bedroom, another with three single beds, and a bathroom with bath and shower. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
Downstairs, the living room has an electric woodburner and smart TV; the kitchen and dining room open into each other, with a cooker, dishwasher, air fryer, microwave and washer-dryer for self-catering and laundry. There's also a separate toilet. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
Outside, an enclosed lawned garden has furniture and a barbecue; private parking fits four cars. The location suits anyone wanting to base themselves on the island for walking and exploring without being in the thick of town—Shanklin Old Village, the beach and Shanklin Chine are all within reach. No smoking inside the property.

A good, dog friendly property, in need of a touchup, improvements here and there to bring it to a high standard but is over all at a good standard. The master bedroom needs a bigger double bed. If it is hot, bedroom doors will annoyingly clatter in small breezes when windows are open. What is provided: Large On-site parking. Master bedroom small double bed. Secondary bedroom 3 medium single beds. 2 Toilets Bath + Shower on mixer tap Washer/dryer - Bring your own preferential detergents Fridge & Freezer Dishwasher - Tablets provided Gas cooker Microwave Toaster Dolce Gusto coffee machine - Bring your own pods Kettle. - Bring your own coffee, tea's and milk Iron Hairdryer Towels Broadband - Strong WiFi but very poor internet connection due to remoteness of property, bearly usable. Other general notes: Mobile singles are spotty, BT/EE has best signal coverage. Three users/low budget providers will struggle in general accross tne island. Don't expect movie streaming to work. Bring something for entertainment that does not rely on the internet.
