About Ninham Country Holidays
Ninham sits in a peaceful wooded valley on the edge of Shanklin, part of a 190-acre working farm with pitches spread across roughly twelve acres of sheltered grassland and orchard. The Orchard area offers level, landscaped hardstanding, while other terraces open out toward countryside views that stretch toward the sea. Spring brings bluebells through the woods; a duck pond and walking routes across the farmland give the site a genuinely rural feel, even though Shanklin's beach, Old Village and Chine are less than two miles away—mostly downhill on foot.
Facilities punch above the pastoral setting. There's a heated outdoor pool open through the main season, a sports area, play equipment, and modern washblocks running on solar-heated water and rainwater-flushed toilets. A small shop covers basics, and electric hook-ups are available on many pitches. Dogs are welcome on leads. The coastal path is close by, and Sandown, Ventnor and the southern downs are all within easy reach by car.

We spent last week camping at Ninham Country Holidays and without a doubt it’s the best site that we’ve stayed at on the Isle of Wight. The staff were very friendly and helpful on checking in and pitching. Our pitch was perfect and there was so much room on it. A very quiet site in an amazing countryside setting, the showers and toilets were spotless clean and the hot water was just right. The tv room and games room were added bonuses and the swimming pool was perfect, a nice sun trap with loads of sun beds and chairs. Some lovely country walks towards Lake or Shanklin are accessible from the site. It really is in a great position for all amenities on the island. We would highly recommend this site and we will certainly be staying here again in the future. 10/10 from me 👍🏻

Beautiful large site with excellent sized pitches - some of which are fully serviced. The situation is ideal for sightseeing. Site is nice and quiet. There is a laundry/ toilets and dish washing facility. Well looked after. Highly recommend. Cycle and walking routes to explore . Supermarket just a short cycle away if you need to stock up.Dog friendly.

Lovely quiet campsite, the ground are very well kept and it feels very rural. The shower facilities are great and you have the bonus of the Swimming pool which is included in the price. For us the only thing that might put us off coming back is that they don't have a communal freezer for ice packs which we normally use for packed lunches. They do hire out ice packs but I think that's a but much for the money they charge

What a beautiful site, swimming pool lovely new toulets and showers, big pitches, well kept. Emily or Emma (sorry) and Dan running the site were delightful and soo helpful. £59 for two nights, we didnt need hookup. Lidl , morrisons and Aldi 20 minute walk up the bridleway or five minute drive, 15 mins from beach, what a find!
