We visited for tea and cake after a hike. The victoria sponge was the best we've ever had! Freshly baked. There's only a few tables but well worth a visit for homemade cake, scones, hot & cold drinks. The owner accepts cards too.

We camped here for our last night on Gold DofE and it was lovely! The couple let us have ice cream and cake in the evening despite the fact it was past working hours. Moreover, the animals were lovely , especially the dogs. The stream provided a nice sound overnight. The sitting area in front of the sink was great :) Toilets were easy to use, had very clear instructions. Thank you, had a great time!

The couple was very lovely and kind, we even got to play with the cute doggo, Peg. The ice cream and cake were very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed by our group. Views are absolutely stunning, the stream sounds so calming when sleeping and the baby lambs are very cute. I would love to return here in the nearby future!!

Very rustic, but at the end of a very wet walk was very welcome. Wonderful teapot of delicious tea (served with hot water too) tea bread and a scone with jam and cream. All clearly homemade. A proper treat!
