It helps to have a guest house in a spectacular area and the Ellergill in Keswick, UK, fits the bill! The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. I especially enjoyed relaxing in front of the house in the June evenings while other tourists were strolling by.The breakfast was wonderful and the couple who run the house were most helpful in defining words and terms for us that we found in a hiking guide. They were very accommodating and the stay there was everything we hoped for.

We loved our stay in Ellergill! Our room was very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from the window was stunning. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Great location, walking distance to The Lake, town centre and Derwent Museum.

We stayed at Ellergill geast house this week Monday to Thursday. The room was very nice and cosy No 4.looking over the mountains.we had Breakfast brought up to our room which was very tasty.The owners were really nice people and Keswick and surrounding areas was very lovely scenery. We would come back again so Thankyou for a great few days .Dawn and Mick Hardy.

Lovely room very clean with views of the fells. Covid safe. Breakfast delivered to the room on a tray. Food provided was very nice. Friendly owners. A minute walk from main Street.
