Arrived in 30c heat. Property situated on ind.estate and easy to find. Appears newish. Simple design. Lots of car parking space. Lobby bright and airy. Lifts quick but small. Bedrooms small. Double bed small. Dining/bar area large and roomy. On arrival I checked in and asked for a quiet room but was told rooms weren't designated like that, there was no time because the hotel was full and it would take too long. The lady was quite sharp and not pleasant. I found it hard to believe because the car park never got more than half full. Anyway, took the key card and went up to the second floor. The room faced a building some way off and was actually very quiet. Why couldn't she simply have said all the rooms were quiet? The bedroom was small and the bathroom very small. Both looked dated. Even the double bed looked/felt smaller than usual and it was uncomfortable. Apart from shampoo/body wash there were no other amenities although you could ask. There was a kettle and coffee/tea which were welcome. Then the reason I wouldn't stay again - the A/c had four settings. Off, noisy, very noisy and extremely noisy with a minimum temp of 22c. It made sleep impossible. Only quiet setting was off and then it was too hot to sleep. Breakfast was the best part. Good choice, nicely cooked hot food and a quiet room. 5 tables occupied at 8am. Hotel full? Unlikely. So no, I would never stay here again. Two hours sleep ruins the next day. There are better choices.

Had an excellent stay rooms were lovely and clean. I needed extra bits for my room and I seen a housekeeper on my floor who I asked for clean towels and empty my bin. Her name was Claire she had no issues and said if I needed anything else just to ask. My breakfast was lovely and fresh and reception lady called vicky made me more than welcome

Stayed here for two nights with my son for a sporting competition at a local venue. Can't complain about the room, the beds were comfy, room spacious and clean, shower cubicle alright size with toilet that had separate door. Loved that the curtains covered the entire window wall to ensure no light came in. However, shame the corridor lights stayed on all night which shone through quite brightly. Breakfast was nice on the morning, if a little unorganised in layout and restocking of items. Staff overall friendly but if they'd gone any slower in serving anyone they'd have stopped! Location was fine to get where I needed to be. Don't know the area well to know if its a good location. There was an Asda garage next door with a greggs inside. Miller and Carter next to hotel (although didn't go). There are plenty of supermarkets a short drive from the hotel.

The staff was not professional at all - both their behaviour and looks. Staff wearing untucked shirts, flipflops, slippers.. There was a guy at reception who sat while we talked to him and chewed gum with his mouth open. When I needed to check-out, he let me wait at reception desk 5 minutes, even he noticed I am there and he turned around and did his inventory of alcohol bottles. I said “hello?” once, he didnt even answer. I said “hello” for the second time and he said “one minute”, turned his back - very rude. Then I said the Uber is waiting and we need to check out. So he came, again chewing gum loudly.. did not even ask if everything was OK. I did not like the approach at all and would not stay in this hotel again. There was no AC in the room and the breakfast was so so.. when we came there were no croissants and the staff was very slow with refreshing the breakfast.
