About The Grange Hotel

The Grange Hotel is an Edwardian property set in its own grounds at Willow Park, around five minutes' drive from King's Lynn town centre. The hotel combines its period character with a relaxed, family-run atmosphere, offering en-suite bedrooms, some of them pet-friendly, along with free on-site parking.

A cooked and continental breakfast is included, and evening home-cooked meals are available in the dining room, useful for guests who would rather not head back into town after a day out. The hotel also has function space for small events.

Its position close to the train station and the main road network makes it a practical base for both West Norfolk's country houses and the drive out to the north Norfolk coast, as well as for King's Lynn itself.

I stayed at The Grange Hotel in King's Lynn, Norfolk, for a 5 day intensive driving course. I stayed for 6 nights and it was an absolutely beautiful time, starting with the proprietor, Taz, personally picking me up from the train station. The room was big and very comfortable with a lovely full bath and shower. The food was excellent and expertly prepared, with room service if I required. There was a full English breakfast every morning, included with the room. If you wanted a specific time for your meals Jane made sure your meal was ready when you desired. All meals included all the timings, and again expertly prepared. As a cook myself I truly enjoyed the attention to detail, the freshness of all items, like fresh fruit bowl in the morning if desired. The fruit was wonderful. In addition to this, the proprietors Jane and Taz made sure I had everything I needed. Both are beautiful people. Friendly, kind and wanting nothing more than to be certain I was fully taken care of. It was one of the very best hotel/B&B's I have ever experienced and plan to visit again whenever I get the chance. The building itself was beautiful. Ornate woodwork throughout the inside with a beautiful staircase. Currently undergoing outside remodeling the works did not impact the service provided at all. It is clear that once the works are done the entire building will be absolutely beautiful. Not only would I recommend the driving course, I would recommend that you stay at the Grange Hotel, with its impeccable service and attention to detail, rather than any other place of stay in King's Lynn. It was and is well worth the stay.it was very comfortable and I slept the best I have slept in a very long time. The bed was lovely. In room television just added the cream to the crop. Tony G. Stayed here for 5 nights doing a driving course, so a very stressful time! Despite this, Jane and Taz made my stay absolutely wonderful. The house is very tastefully decorated and has a great vibe. My room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the en suite had everything I might have needed. Jane was also very generous with complimentary snacks and drinks, including bringing me fresh milk for tea whenever I should ask. Breakfast every morning was cooked very well and set me up for each day. I would not hesitate to return, and though I passed my driving test, I hope I can swing by in the future to visit again!

Wow! Our 7th year of returning for Mum’s birthday (again!). Jane was amazing, fresh milk provided, lovely chocolate bars and other snacks in our spacious room. Lots of parking. New double glazed windows fitted in our room, with keeping the character of this beautiful building. Pleased to see they are respecting the beauty of the building, with a new roof which fits the character of the building. Scaffolding is up to make this even better, but doesn’t detriment to our stay. Breakfast was something special. Full English with all the trimmings makes this even more a great choice. Would recommend highly.

Rooms are very clean and the personal customer service from the owner is amazing. Excellent location for the town and sandringham. Food is freshly cooked and a good size so don’t need to eat again on a day out. Thank you for a great stay.
