A traditional pub hotel on Kingston upon Thames's High Street, known locally for its Sunday roasts and fall-off-the-bone ribs.

About The Foresters Arms

A traditional pub-style building on the High Street, The Foresters Arms combines an old-fashioned bar and restaurant with adults-only accommodation upstairs. The character is very much that of a proper local, with a lively atmosphere and staff who are generally warm and welcoming, even if a handful of visits have found service a little brisk at busy times.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available to order in-room, and free WiFi, and breakfast is served each morning to set guests up for the day. The restaurant is the property's strong suit, drawing praise for its ribs and Sunday roast alongside a broad drinks selection, and there's outdoor seating for milder evenings plus a kids' menu for family visits. A bar on site, meeting rooms, 24 hour reception and luggage storage round out the practical side of things.

Kingston upon Thames itself offers golf nearby, along with a good spread of other pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach for those who fancy exploring beyond the High Street. It's a straightforward, sociable base for a stay in the town.

This place is such a classic pub complete with excellent drinks and amazing food. Last night had the ribs and let me tell you, “fall off the bone” is simply incredible! The flavor, the speed of service, the variety in the menu are all excellent. Couldn’t suggest them enough!

It is a very nice restaurant with good food, however the service (which is normally very good) really disappointed me. As I was trying to order (bare in mind I have an accent and struggle to pronounce words occasinally) they started to laugh behind my back which felt extremely targeted towards me and once i walked away and turned around they started laughing at me again. This truly made me feel horrible and I was appalled by the unprofessional behaviour the workers had.

Without doubt, the best pub for miles.Amazing drinks and food. Cat and all the staff are always so friendly and welcoming! Would highly recommend popping in if you’re near Hampton wick! If you’re eating I would try the ribs, 10 out of 10.

We stumbled into the Foresters after a lovely dog walk in the park. Catherine made us feel at home instantly! We shared the loaded fries and pints are on point. Would highly recommend - we will be back!
