About easyHotel Leeds City Centre

A no-frills city centre building on Lands Lane, easyHotel Leeds City Centre houses 93 rooms designed for straightforward, low-cost stays rather than lingering in the lobby. It's the kind of place built around a simple idea: a clean, functional base in the middle of town, with the fuss left out.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and a lift serving all floors, with family rooms and accessible rooms among the options. Drinks are available in-room, and free WiFi is standard throughout. Rooms are on the small side, so this suits guests who want a tidy place to sleep rather than space to spread out, and the value reflects that trade-off.

Staff are consistently helpful, and the location is a genuine strength, putting shops, restaurants, pubs and bars all within easy walking distance, with a golf course and further entertainment options nearby too. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. It's a practical choice for anyone prioritising location and price over extra space.

We booked one night as we were going to a concert, booked in March but went in July and somehow the price of the room was cheaper on the night - annoying but okay. Got there and somehow I had accidentally booked an accessible room with no window (meant to book a regular room) and that was fine however if I did have extra needs I’m not sure how the room would have been helpful, the wet room/bathroom was spacious but the shower chair was broken, the water pressure was awful and then in the bedroom one side of the bed was inaccessible without climbing over the bed - coincidentally the side that had the red emergency cord. The bed was decent for the price, I expected a bit more like a desk or such but it was the bare bones of a room: toilet, shower and bed. Nothing fancy but did the job. Plus side the location was amazing, right in the city centre so easy to stumble back to at whatever time in the night.

Stayed for 2 nights on first visit to Leeds. The location was a key selling point - train station, city museum, Trinity and Corn exchange all within walking distance as right in city centre. No in-house restaurant but copious amounts of cafes/restaurants in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed but had no major issues. Our room itself was as basic as possible and was overpriced (mid July and short notice so probably much cheaper under different circumstances). Room was very small and effectively just a double bed with a TV and a bathroom. Everything was clean but lacked quality of life features like wardrobe, bedside tables, window and kettle - you have to pay for hot water at the coffee machine in the lobby! Shower was serviceable, although half of the pores in the shower head were not functioning correctly. Overall it’s a convenient place to stay and serves its purpose as a bed for the night if you’re just passing through but I wouldn’t recommend for those seeking an especially comfortable room to spend a lot of time in.

Great location right in the centre of Leeds, very close to the train station and easy to find. It’s also surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and shops, including a nearby shopping centre, which was really convenient. The room was quite small and very basic, just a bed and a bathroom, but everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout our stay, which made a difference. We also really appreciated being able to store our luggage after check-out for a small fee (£5). I think this hotel is a great option if you’re just passing through Leeds or staying for a short visit, like we did. It’s perfect for a one-night stay, but I probably wouldn’t stay longer due to the limited space and facilities.

Friendly service and in a very good location. The room was clean but there were a few stains in the floor which hasn't been cleaned too well. The shower was okay, not too powerful but does the job. The pillows were fine but the mattress was incredibly hard. Price was good so it just loses the star for the comfyness of the bed
