Pretty average experience & I've had more enjoyable experiences at Yauatcha. Ordered some cocktails, which are very theatrical but the extra oversized ice cubes definitely ensure you get less drink for quite a costly cocktail. Not a fan of that. Food was mid. Crispy duck salad was ruined & ended up looking like baby food after the waitress needed to mix it up. Definitely a service not needed. Customers should be asked if they require it to be mixed up for them, as I definitely would have refused that offer. Detracted from the salad as it did look appetising when it arrived at the table. Sweet n sour prawns portion was small but the steamed prawns faired better. Wasn't impressed by this visit at all. Had to get the waiters & waitresses attention a couple of times too. Overall below par.

I booked with first table on CNY and it was great dinner. Bean curd Cheng fen was delicious as was the soft shell carb. Service was so so, we had to keep asking for water. Overall great dinner for £100 for the dishes plus a bottle of wine with the discount

Traveling on business and was actually trying to locate a different restaurant but didn’t like the offerings of the other place. Had been walking the shops and was ready for a nice and relaxed dinner but also a little bit of an upscale vibe. Stumbled upon Yauatcha and was absolutely amazed by all the flavors. Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Chili Squid, and the Bone Marrow Fried Rice with the Wild Hibiscus cocktail. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. The waitress was so kind and had such a wonderful personality. Every staff member was always smiling and helpful also. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling, looking for good Dim Sum options and great service!

Had a really nice experience at Yauatcha City recently and definitely think it’s worth a visit if you like dim sum. We went for their Infinite Yum Cha menu and honestly, it’s such a good deal for London. The dim sum is unlimited, and they actually mean it – service was quick and we could reorder as soon as a dish was finished. Loved the scallop siu mai, prawn dumplings, and the venison puffs were surprisingly good. You also get to pick a main each – I had the pepper beef which was fresh and full of flavour, and we tried the wasabi prawns and curry cod as well, both really tasty. Comes with rice or egg fried rice, plus a light soufflé dessert at the end. One thing that really stood out was their bar – we tried the Sichuan Margarita and it was amazing. Super unique with a bit of heat from Sichuan pepper and chilli, not something you find easily elsewhere. The restaurant itself is modern and in a great location in the City, perfect for a weekend catch-up. It can get a bit lively, but overall the food and experience more than make up for it. Would definitely come back, especially for the yum cha menu 👍
