Hard Days Night Hotel

My wife and I had a wonderful couple’s stay at the Hard Days Night Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt full of character — beautifully themed, stylish, and carrying that unmistakable Liverpool charm that makes a getaway feel special. A big thank‑you to the team for the room upgrade. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay feel even more memorable. The room itself was elegant, comfortable, and ideal for relaxing together after exploring the city. The location is unbeatable — right on Mathew Street, with all the music history, bars, and atmosphere just steps away. We loved being able to dip into the energy of the area and then return to the calm, cosy feel of the hotel whenever we wanted quiet time as a couple. Staff were warm, friendly, and made everything smooth from check‑in to check‑out. For couples visiting Liverpool who want comfort, personality, and a brilliant central location, the Hard Days Night Hotel is an excellent choice.

The Hard Day’s Night Hotel was, overall, a pleasant place to stay. The room was comfortable, with a good-sized bed and a well-functioning shower. One of the highlights was the staff, who were consistently cheerful, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. A small downside was finding some unclean silverware left in the room, which could have been overlooked more carefully. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. This wasn’t due to the staff, who did their job well, but rather the limited selection. Given the hotel’s theme and the well-known vegetarian leanings of several of the Beatles, I expected a wider range of vegan and vegetarian options. That said, the inclusion of kale at the buffet was a nice touch and appreciated. The hotel’s ambiance is lovely and clearly reflects its theme. One detail worth highlighting is the staircase—it’s definitely worth taking the time to walk from top to bottom and enjoy the pictures and atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience. While we enjoyed our stay, we’re not entirely sure if we would choose to book the same hotel again on a future visit.

Our stay was great. Friendly staff. Big rooms but during a heatwave our air-conditioning was poor. However we had dinner in the hotel restraunt and it was lovely. Jamie was serving us and he made the experience fabulous. Jamie was attentive, efficient, entertaining and polite. Thanks Jamie 👍

Really nice atmosphere. Love all the Beatles memorabilia, and how the room matched that (picture of John Lennon as a kid, with backstory). Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Rooms were spotless. Bath is always appreciated. Best hotel I've stayed in for a long time. Hotel is located in the noisy Cavern Quarter, with music going to 3am, the room was facing Matthew Street with all the bars and clubs. Despite the late night noise, which didn't really bother me as a night owl and deep sleeper, I highly recommend the hotel. Otherwise it's probably best to request a room away from the noise or bring noise cancelling earplugs. Definitely wouldn't let this put me off staying again in this top tier hotel
