About Leonardo Hotel Liverpool
Keel Wharf sits along the Royal Albert Dock, where converted warehouses and open water give way to the city's museums and shops just a short walk beyond. Leonardo Hotel Liverpool occupies this stretch of waterfront directly, putting guests within easy reach of the dock itself as well as the arena and the wider entertainment nearby.
The hotel has 310 rooms, generally spacious with comfortable beds, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms; family and accessible rooms are available, along with drinks in room and room service for those who prefer not to venture out. Some rooms show their wear, so it's worth setting modest expectations on finish and upkeep. Breakfast is a particular strength, with a good selection to start the day, and there's a restaurant and bar on site for other meals and drinks. Business services, meeting rooms and a wedding venue extend the hotel's use beyond overnight stays, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful.
Beyond the hotel, Liverpool ONE and the museums around the dock are within easy walking distance, alongside a choice of pubs, restaurants and a golf course nearby. Parking is chargeable and located nearby rather than on site, so factor that into arrival plans.

What guests say
I just want to start by saying how wonderful the staff are at this hotel. They are fantastic and all deserve praise. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. The price is reasonable for the quality you get. It is also situated very well if you want to be close to the action but quiet enough to sleep well. Thank you to all the gorgeous staff xxx

The rooms are comfy with a toneable air conditioning. The location is near Albert Dock and close to lots of things like the Gmex, Odeon and shopping centre. It has a nice view of the feris wheel in some rooms. The breakfast is nice and the servers are lovely. 5 stars

Rooms are bit grubby especially the bathroom and carpets, and everything is a bit cheap. Breakfast was ok and the breakfast staff did try to accommodate my food intolerances Biggest problem is the noise and awful service from the reception team. The external air conditioning units below the room mean you can’t think straight, you need the TV up loud, you can’t sleep until the air conditioning units go off, you will probably get a headache from the awful droning noise. On top of that the reception staff lie and don’t care to help. I suffer from hereditary long term health conditions which are made worse if I cannot rest well. The booking agent contacted the hotel & requested a quiet room for me and was assured this would be allocated before I arrived. My first night was fine, but the subsequent nights have been horrendous because the room I was allocated is above a restaurant with air conditioning units on the roof - they sound like a generator outside the room. After quizzing the reception staff I found out that no room had been allocated for me before arrival and no notes were on my booking requesting a quiet room - so a lie that this had been done. Despite asking for a quiet room during check in and explaining my health conditions and that a quiet room should have been allocated, the receptionist who seemed to have a nonchalant attitude gave me a room above the air conditioning units. The subsequent receptionist I spoke too did apologise but said there were no rooms available for me to move. So apparently an apology makes up for the lying, poor service and lack of care, and additional ill health, pain, lack of sleep and stress I have suffered. I find it hard to believe how little people care or want help even when it’s their job.

Had a lovely stay. It was a gang of us celebrating a joint 60th in Liverpool with a show, lots to see, great hotel base for exploring. I would have liked more fruit for breakfast managed to get some watermelon and it may have been cause we came down at 8.45ish during the week. There were milk alternatives but could not find milk alternative yoghurt.
