Sealife Adventures

What a great experience! Lisa and David are so knowledgeable about the area and the marine life! Luckily, they provide very good quality binoculars to all that need them, for which we were extremely grateful. We saw Sea eagles, porpoises, otters, seals, wild goats, and so many variety of birds! Lisa shared her extensive knowlege of all of the birds and marine animals that we saw. David did a great job of turning the boat so that we all had an opportunity to see the wildlife. The hot beverage on the ride back was perfectly timed and much appreciated. It was an amazing experience that we will not soon forget! If you are looking for a great boat tour with a small manageable group and experienced staff, this is the tour for you! Don't miss it!

Amazing boat trip today the chance to see white tailed eagles and porpoises as well as deer and a wide variety of sea birds. Both David and Lisa who led the trip were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Highly recommend for people who love wildlife.

My wife and I had a fantastic 4 hour trip with David and Juliet, aboard the excellent Porpoise II. Both David and Juliet were extremely knowledgeable, and clearly cared deeply about the local area, its wildlife, and marine environment. It was a privilege to be guided by two experienced marine biologists who are both actively involved in conservation projects, and passionate about the work they do. Being early in the season, we embarked on the trip with no expectations as to the wildlife we might see, but thanks to David and Juliet’s local knowledge we were treated to sightings of seal colonies, wild deer and goats, various seabirds including Shags, Gannets, and a Puffin. We briefly caught a glimpse of a surfacing Porpoise, and the icing on the cake was seeing Sea Eagles, both in the air and perched in trees. Amazing. David and Juliet went out of their way to ensure that everyone aboard had a memorable and enjoyable trip, and Porpoise II is a fine boat which felt stable and powerful. I highly recommend Sealife Adventures, and my wife and I are eagerly looking forward to our next trip.

We booked our wildlife trip with Sealife Adventures to be the highlight of our weeks stay in Oban and it didn’t disappoint. David and Lisa were incredibly knowledgeable of the area as well as the local wildlife. We were treated to otters, seals, goats, red deer, various birds including shags, oyster catchers, eider ducks and the highlight being three white tailed eagles with two flying next to one another. Highly recommended.
