Service was quick and efficient. Food was amazingly flavourful and brought to the table very fast. Personally I LOVED the short rib Bao with chicken coming in second (the classic one was just ok). Again personally I did not like the house pickles as they were really quite sour, but if you like that it’s a good pallet cleanser. The aged beef rice was sensational 😋

Had a lovely night at Bao. Would recommend booking a table beforehand. We ordered the limited edition steak rice bowl. Our server told us it would be enough for 2-3 people, but the portion size is 1-2 people imo. Flavour was nice. Started was house salad and Taiwanese fried chicken and they were both lovely. Service was 4/5. Our server was all over the place, it was very difficult to get their attention. The atmosphere was lovely and vibrant

This is a great spot for a quick dinner with a menu full of flavour and speedy service. I recommend the cold smoked aubergine with panko bao, the baos with braised pork, beef short rib, fried chicken and finally the 40 day aged beef steak rice with a cured egg yolk.

Wow. Everything we ordered that night was great. The space is cozy and was still super busy when we arrived around 9pm, but we’re lucky and got seated straight away. The staff were lovely and helpful with explaining how to order. And the food was fantastic- the baos were soft and fluffy, the chicken was crispy, juicy and succulent and all the food was seasoned well. If I had to choose one, I’d definitely go for: - Bao: daikon croquette (trust me) - Small plate: Taiwanese fried chicken (and the hot sauce that comes with it is a little tangy and spicy delight) - Dessert: Horlicks malt gelato bao But honestly they make it hard to make a bad choice - it was all delicious. We also had braised pork bao, 40 day aged beef steak rice with the cured egg, massaged seasonal greens with tiger dressing, crispy baonut and bao oolong amber lager. Total £63 for 2 Will be back. Thank you so much!
