Mei Mei

I had never had Singaporean food before visiting London and trying Mei Mei, but I’ve found that I absolutely love it. The Hainanese chicken and rice is delicious, not to mention healthy. The Kopi Peng(coffee drink) is amazing. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I will miss eating here every week when I am back home!

Ordered the nasi lemak,..generous portion, rice was fragranced with coconut milk..huge egg..but noticed coriander and a ginger scallion mix was added..this would not be common condiments of a Nasi lemak but more so for the Hainanese chicken rice. Perhaps added by mistake..not a bad thing as I had wanted to try the chicken rice too..so 2 in 1 😁. Kopi C was good.

I came to mie mie as it was a strong recommendation from my brother The food was divine and flawless! I ordered the char suie pork and it was one of the best meal I’ve ever eaten! It was full of flavour and umami and suitable for all spice tolerances. Great if you love Singaporean food. My brother got it first- I took a bite and then immediately went to order my own. The service was amazing too, as the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Had a lovely lunch at Meimei in Borough Market. The Hainanese chicken rice was delicious — tender chicken, fragrant rice, and great sauces that brought everything together. It felt comforting, authentic, and satisfying. A special shoutout to Marley, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Her warm attitude and excellent service really stood out and made us feel well looked after. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Meimei to anyone visiting Borough Market.
