What diners say
After a long day of trekking around London we found this little pub close to the hotel. We had a wonderful time. Our waitress/bartender Rachael was incredibly kind and patient. We came in with 8 people and she quickly accommodated us with a smile. Right after us another large group of about 12-14 arrived. She and her co-bartender handled it with smiles and wonderful service. The drinks were quick and she was kind enough to let us have a quick sample to ensure we would be happy with our choices. We ordered food and it was all hot and well cooked. We got a variety- chicken burgers, tartar, potato wedges, gnocchi and pork collar. All were good and enjoyed. The only mention would be the gnocchi was a little mushy and the potato wedges could have used a dash of salt, but flavor was good. We truly enjoyed our time and if we were in town another night we would come back again for another round. Great service, good drinks and excellent staff!

Had a great experience here when we stayed nearby recently for a long weekend. Decided to pop in for a drink and were blown away with how friendly and helpful the staff were. Gave us a couple of samples of what was on tap before we settled on an ale. Very reasonable prices. Staff very accommodating. So good, we went back again thw following night but had food then too. Did not disappoint. My step son has a nut allergy and the manager went over and above expectations to help with that too. Honestly very impressed. Young lady from Bangor in North Wales serving us (studying linguistics), really lovely too. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Properly independent pub run by a brewer (so great tap selection), tasty food, great atmosphere. Shout out to Mad and Finn!

Tucked away in the heart of Bermondsey, this local gem checks all the boxes: banging Hi-Fi system 🎶, killer drinks 🍺, and food that says, “Yes, I’m a pub… but I’ve read some cookbooks.” Think gastropub without the snobbery. Whether you’re sipping a weird-but-delicious craft beer or getting emotional over the roast, you’re in good hands. The staff? Super chill and genuinely friendly — no fake smiles here. Come for the tunes, stay for the pints, leave wondering why all pubs can’t be this cool.
