What diners say
Sunday roast at The Market Porter in Borough Market. Proper pub style roast, generous portions and everything tasted really well balanced. Beef was nicely pink and tender, pork belly was super juicy with good flavour. Roast potatoes were crispy, Yorkshire pudding was huge and the gravy was rich. Nothing fancy just a really solid classic Sunday roast in a lively pub atmosphere. Great spot if you’re around Borough Market and craving a traditional roast.

With my son before we head over to the O2 for a gig…thought we’d check this pub out for a bite to eat and glad we did. Really friendly, relaxed pub, food was well cooked & well presented, a great selection of ales, beer, wine & gin, and attentive but not overly so service. I had the fish & chips & my son had the burger. Both were tasty & filling. Very reasonably priced and a nice feeling in our hearts. Great job 🤓

After wandering around borough market a beverage was required. Popped in for a pint, the wife had a bourbon. Good service, stood outside as it was warm, nice friendly atmosphere with people from far and wide. Recommended.

If you are melting away in the sun, right opposite the iconic Borough Market, Dine with Aircon @ level 2 in this heatwave feels like paradise, The Chicken Kyiv and a pint of Seventh Step Lager is a must-have pairing ! Savory and hits the spot ! Chorizo Scotch Egg and Sticky Toffee Pudding is great too ! Highly recommend !!
