Members day at this hugely historic building 😀 Clearly lots of time, energy and patience together with great restoration skills have gone into the refurbishment 😀 Upon entering this building you know your in for a special treat 😀👏👏 Firstly into the lower hall to have a chat with the wonderful staff about the history and introduction of this house into London 😀 Great clean toilets await you and even free cold water and glasses 😀👏 Guide books for sale then up the stairwell to see a picture of King James 1st 👑🤴🇬🇧 Into the great hall where more knowledgable people await you. Bean bags and glasses 🪞 to help you better view the magnificent “Rubens” ceilings 😀😀🇬🇧 Built in 1620 and decorated in 1636 and the only Ruben ceiling still in existence 😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👏🇧🇪 You can Google all about the house with lots of interesting facts to discover 😀 Visit took roughly 30 minutes which was a great day out. A wonderful experience that I thoroughly recommend 😀🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The Banqueting House in London is an absolute masterpiece and one of the most breathtaking historic landmarks I have ever visited. From the moment you enter, you are surrounded by centuries of history, stunning architecture, and an atmosphere that feels both grand and inspiring. The highlight is undoubtedly the magnificent ceiling painted by Peter Paul Rubens, which is truly awe inspiring and even more impressive in person than in photographs. The building is beautifully preserved and offers a fascinating glimpse into England’s royal past. Every detail, from the elegant design to the historical exhibits, is thoughtfully presented and easy to appreciate. Whether you are interested in history, architecture, art, or simply exploring iconic sites in London, the Banqueting House is a must visit destination. The experience is both educational and memorable, leaving a lasting impression long after you leave. Highly recommended for visitors from around the world looking to experience one of London’s most remarkable treasures.

The only left part in the White Hall—Anyone interested in British History shouldn’t miss that! But do book your tickets in advance because they only open for certain days in a month.

Basically two big empty halls, but one has a ceiling by Rubens that's worth a look. I enjoyed it, go see if you're passing, but takes about 30 mins tops.
