About Corinthia Hotel London

Breakfast and afternoon tea are a genuine draw at Corinthia Hotel London, served in surroundings that set the tone for the rest of the stay. There's a restaurant and bar on site too, along with the option of drinks brought straight to your room, so there's little need to venture out unless you want to.

The hotel holds 283 rooms across its Whitehall Place address, each designed with space and comfort in mind and finished with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, and facilities extend to a gym, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa with hydrotherapy pools and saunas for guests who want to unwind properly rather than just tick off a treatment. A garden and outdoor seating area offer a quieter spot to sit, while meeting rooms and business services suit those travelling for work.

Staff are consistently attentive without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere is calm and well kept rather than showy. The location near Charing Cross puts plenty of central London within easy reach, with restaurants, pubs and entertainment nearby for those keen to explore beyond the hotel itself. Porter, concierge and valet parking services take care of the practical details, and pets are welcome too.

From the moment we arrived, everything was simply exceptional. The setting is absolutely stunning—elegant, beautifully presented, and with such a warm, luxurious atmosphere. The afternoon tea was outstanding. Every item was beautifully prepared, fresh, and full of flavour. It was clear that great care had gone into every detail, from the delicate cakes to the perfectly presented sandwiches and scones. What truly made our visit special, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel incredibly well looked after throughout our visit. Their professionalism and kindness really elevated the whole experience. A truly memorable afternoon in a beautiful setting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and very much look forward to returning.

We had such a wonderful family stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for our family. It gave us plenty of space to relax, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. I stayed with my kids to celebrate their birthday, and they absolutely loved every moment. The hotel created a perfect family-friendly atmosphere, making the celebration even more special. The highlight of our stay was dining at the Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding—honestly some of the best Italian cuisine we've had. The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for a family celebration. We also really enjoyed spending the afternoon there.

I attended afternoon tea today with my daughters and their respective six month old babies . I cannot say how charming relaxed warm and friendly everyone was it was relaxing for the two new mothers and even me as granny. The manager Marco de Simone was delightful and all and I mean all of his staff stopped talked smiled and couldn’t do enough for us. The champagne cocktails were to die for the food was amazing they replenished without asking g everything we wanted and we even got goody bags to go home with ! Best afternoon tea in London by a country mile and I’ve been to lots

Have previously attended an afternoon tea here and it was excellent. One year later we attended to celebrate another important birthday on 30th May 2026. The difference was remarkable and NOT in a positive way. The bread was stale. When this was pointed out to the server his only response was “let’s start with the scones and patisseries.” No apology no enquiry just dismissive and wholly uninterested. The scones were reasonable but the cakes were pretty sub-standard. The service overall was far below par for any establishment much less for a 5star establishment. For all the potential to make it a memorable experience it was something to remember but for all the wrong reasons. What a wasted opportunity. Either they are riding on past plaudits or have lost the fundamental nature of what good service and good food is. A disaster and an experience which one would not be recommending to others. Will be writing to Management direct and will post what reply is received.
