About Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel

A breakfast to start the day and a choice of nearby pubs and restaurants for the evening make Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel a practical base for exploring the capital. Drinks can also be brought straight to the room, and porter services are on hand for luggage, so the basics are well covered without fuss.

The hotel has 111 rooms across a building served by a lift, with air conditioning and free WiFi throughout. Rooms are clean and well kept, though some are on the smaller side and could do with updating. Free on-site parking is a useful extra for those arriving by car in a part of London where parking is otherwise scarce.

The location is a strong point, with Hyde Park and nearby tube stations within easy reach, making it simple to get around the city or just take a walk nearby. Staff are consistently described as helpful and friendly. One thing to note: the £50 deposit taken at check-in has, for some, proved slow to be refunded, so it is worth asking about the process on arrival.

The hotel is definitely worth the price. It is not the nicest hotel and it definitely looks dated, but I knew that going into it with the price and pictures. I was not sure how the service would be given the price, but everyone who worked there was extremely kind and helpful! The hotel is near Kensington Gardens, many restaurants and two tube stations. If you are looking for a cheap, safe hotel, this is a good one to choose. The only thing that I would have liked to have known before coming is that the water in the bathroom is not safe to drink (I typically bring a filtered water bottle to use on vacations).

The only positive aspect of this photo is the location, otherwise very much true to all the comments mentioned, AVOID AT ALL COST. We booked a 3-night stay at Berjaya Eden Park Hotel London through Agoda, with the booking made on 3 May 2026. Before arrival, we contacted the hotel to request a higher-floor room with a view, away from the lift/elevator area, fire door and corridor. As we were placed in a below-ground-level room with no view.,The window faced directly onto a shared courtyard, where the administrative staffs could see into the room, and literally anyone with access to the courtyard could easily see through our room, so there was very little privacy unless the curtains were kept closed all the time. The room also did not match the impression given by the hotel’s photos on Agoda. The experience felt materially different from what was advertised when we booked. The first night was extremely unpleasant. The walls and ceiling were very thin, and we could hear children running and stomping above us late at night. We could also hear people in the corridor and the fire door opening and closing repeatedly. I reported this to the hotel via WhatsApp during the stay and later spoke to reception, asking for a room change. At first I was told they would try to do something, but then I was told nothing could be done. Only after we escalated the matter to Agoda was a room change suddenly mentioned. The hotel also did not provide drinkable tap water in the room, and bottled water was only provided initially. No meaningful or timely solution was offered when the problems were first raised. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. The main issues were the below-ground room, lack of view, lack of privacy, noise, the room not matching the booking photos, and the poor handling of the complaint. I would strongly advise future guests to confirm the exact room type and floor before arrival, especially if booking through a third-party platform.

Pleasant Stay and Excellent Location It was my first time in London and I am glad that I found this hotel. To/From LHR was very easy. Bayswater Station is only 1 minute away and one train station ride to Paddington Station and you can catch Heathrow Express. There is a supermarket called Sainsbury, and a plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. Everything is quite literally within a few minutes walk; and I really enjoyed the area. The room was nice and clean and very well maintained. Hotel employees are very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay there. I very much look forward to staying there again.

This hotel offers a good value for money. It is very well located, close to Kensington Park and Hyde Park, with Oxford Street only a 30-minute walk away. St Pancras station is also around 30 minutes away by tube. I highly recommend it for travelers on a budget. The neighborhood is great, with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The rooms are small, but they are very clean and fine for a short stay. The staff are kind, welcoming, and easy-going. The only small downside is that the sound insulation is not perfect, so you can sometimes hear noise from the street or the hallway. However, it was still completely manageable and did not affect my stay too much. Just a small note for future guests: a £50 deposit is required on the first day. It is fully refundable after check-out, but it’s good to know in advance so you can be prepared.

Reviewers consistently praise this hotel for its excellent value, superb location close to both tube stations and Hyde Park, clean rooms, and helpful, friendly staff.

Other reviews mention the rooms can be small and dated, and the £50 deposit can be difficult to get refunded.
