Central Victorian House

Me and my partner stayed here for the night when attending an event(Hayley Williams concert) at the Roundhouse Camden. And I’m so glad we found this place, the instructions for check in were easy to follow, our room was number 7 and it was cute, clean, had everything we needed and even got welcomed by the resident cat, they were so friendly and sweet! We met (I think) the owner too, who was very friendly and welcoming. All communication was answered very quickly and clearly. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful Victorian house. The location was excellent and convenient for exploring London. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the two cats were absolutely adorable. Alexis was a wonderful host—friendly, helpful and very responsive. Communication was excellent, and he genuinely made an effort to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. We truly appreciated his kindness and hospitality and felt very well looked after. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place. Thank you, Alexis! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Incredibly beautiful and amazing place to stay! The rooms are incredibly clean. The beds are very comfortable. Amazing garden and friendly staff. Getting into contact is nice and easy as well Only being a few moments away from Camden made stumbling back into bed much easier

If you book here make sure you check you are ensuite. We booked via booking.com for an ensuite room. We didn't get one. The owners are quite happy to blame booking.com for this but they message you to say to check. The inferred warning here is they know booking.com bugger this up ( why would you message otherwise??!) but they happily then claim you've booked a designated room number with no ensuite. We are now waiting for the shared bathroom to be free. And more to the point it has a shared toilet too. So while another guest showers. , you can't even use the loo! This is not good. Our room is fine but as I'm now annoyed and being picky ... Or bedside tables don't match: the sofa is some cheap grey thing with a bad throw: the QR code scan for the WiFi takes you to a homepage offering discounts and, haha, a review option - you have to copy the WiFi password and paste to log in. There are no pictures on the walls, which means the room is stark - although we could have knocked one up while we waited for the toilet I suppose. I get it. It is not expensive, but it's not budget either. The owners need to ensure they list the rooms properly at the the point of booking - and if booking.com can't do that, they need to tackle that with them. Not blame me. I shouldn't have to double check I've booked an ensuite - it's 2026 not 1956.
