About Club Quarters Trafalgar Square
Club Quarters Trafalgar Square occupies a sizeable building tucked in beside Trafalgar Square itself, giving the hotel a scale that allows for 225 rooms across its floors. It's a practical, business-friendly property rather than a boutique one, with the kind of solid, functional character that suits travellers who want space and a central address over decorative flourish.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and comfortable beds, and guests have access to free coffee and water as a standing amenity. Some rooms show their age rather than feeling freshly refitted, but the trade-off is generous proportions and a genuinely central position. The hotel runs a restaurant and bar on site, along with a snack bar, room service, and breakfast, while a gym, business services, meeting rooms and concierge cover the practical side of a stay. Laundry service, luggage storage and accessible rooms are also available, and pets are welcome.
Staff are consistently noted for being attentive and professional, adding a personal touch to what is otherwise a large, efficient operation. With Trafalgar Square on the doorstep and plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, the location does much of the work, while Chessington World of Adventures offers a further point of interest for those venturing beyond central London.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Trafalgar Square. Its central location is unbeatable, making it the perfect base for exploring London. This is my third stay here, and by now it has become my home away from home whenever I visit the city. What makes this hotel so special is its people. Every member of the team—from the front desk and managers to the wonderful housekeeping staff—goes above and beyond to make every stay comfortable and memorable. A very special thank you to Delia, Maya, Carolina and Bekzod who were incredibly kind and helpful in making sure I settled in comfortably and found the perfect room. Your care and professionalism made all the difference. The restaurant is excellent, room service is prompt and delicious, and I also love the toiletries provided in the rooms. They’re high-quality products made with natural ingredients, a thoughtful touch that I always appreciate. Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. I can’t wait to return!

If you're visiting the Covent Garden/Trafalgar area, Club Quarters Hotel is an excellent choice. It’s perfectly situated just off Trafalgar Square on Northumberland Avenue, a mere 2-minute walk from the Underground. The grand marble lobby makes a great first impression, and there is a wheelchair lift at the entrance with staff on hand to assist. The Rooms: Surprisingly spacious for London! The higher floors offer spectacular views across the city. Beds are clean and comfortable, pillows are soft, and the rooms are generally very quiet. While the shower area could use a minor cosmetic refresh, the bathroom was clean, well-stocked with quality gel/shampoo, and came with great towels. The Perks (Great money-savers): Free Coffee: A brilliant coffee machine is available in the guest breakout area. Definitely hit this up before spending £5 a cup out in London! Free Water: Complimentary water bottles are provided, plus ice machines and ice-cold water dispensers are located at the end of every corridor. Secret Entrance: There is a direct internal door connecting the hotel straight to the famous pizza place next door—highly convenient! The Service: Outstanding. Staff are available 24/7. We’ve stayed here every year for three years now because the pricing, quality, and hospitality are consistently excellent. A special shoutout to Nalin, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

Location is great! Main places are a few minutes walking and two big train stations really closed. The hotel is a bit old for the price, but the room was just fine. The water machine with bottles was a great gesture and the lobby is pretty good if you need to work or print something.

Unfortunately I was left a little disappointed with our stay. The hotel is in a very convenient location but that is the only thing to recommend. The reception/check in area is not what you'd expect at this price level, the reception desk is tiny and there's an obvious push to have guests use the self serve station. The room, although large, is in serious need of renovation. The dark furniture is from another era and I cannot remember the last time I saw a desk with the media panel. All of the drawers in the bedroom furniture are filled with additional bedding which results in there being no where to store your own possessions and there is no in room safe present. With such a large room, its a surprise that the bed is pushed so close to the window. Being a single glazed, old sash window it does nothing to keep out the cold and whoever sleeps in that side of the bed will wake up each night cold. The room heating is in a vent behind the bed so there is no way you can run that overnight. Once you've woken up cold its then difficult to return to sleep due to the in room fridge clicking and rattling. The bathroom is also from a different era and reminds me how much I dislike shower curtains. The quality of the bed linen, pillows and duvet is very good and the water stations in the corridor are a good idea but those positives are not enough to offset the negatives.
