About Fox Connaught
A compact seventeen-room pub-hotel rather than a grand establishment, Fox Connaught keeps things simple: a proper bar and restaurant on site, en-suite bedrooms with air conditioning, and the sort of straightforward comfort that suits a short stay in London without fuss or frills.
Rooms come with the essentials covered, including free WiFi and accessible options, and the property offers breakfast alongside its restaurant menu, known for generous plates of fish and chips and burgers plus a broad drinks selection. There's a garden, picnic area and outdoor seating for warmer days, room service for those who'd rather not move, and facilities for business or small weddings. Free on-site parking is a practical bonus given the location on Lynx Way.
The atmosphere is generally welcoming and staff are well regarded, though service can occasionally slow at busier times. Festival Leisure Park lies nearby for additional entertainment, and Custom House is within reach for those exploring further into London.

Brilliant hotel, loved the location it was a short walk from the Above and Beyond event at Silverworks Island. The bed was so comfortable like sleeping in a fluffy cloud and much appreciated after dancing for hours. The staff were amazing firstly Dom for the bottles of water and milk and Polly was lovely had a great chat in the morning. Our room was huge and clean. Thanks for a great stay I will stay again in the future if visiting London.

I stayed here specifically to attend a conference at the ExCeL, and it was the perfect choice. It is a lovely hotel and extremely convenient for the venue. The bar and restaurant were a real highlight. While the menu is somewhat limited, everything on it is high-quality - you'll be sure to find something you like, and you can be sure it will be excellent. I tried the chicken wings and the fish and chips, and even stayed for dessert! Everything was freshly cooked, really tasty, and I truly couldn't fault it. A special mention must go to Poli, the manager, and her team. They were fantastic and made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. The bar staff are top-notch. As for the room, it was lovely- comfortable, spotless, and provided an amazing night's sleep. It had everything I could ask for. I can’t rate this place highly enough for anyone visiting the Docklands or attending an event nearby!

Polly was amazing. Unfortunately there was a booking.com error which meant that we didnt show up on their systems, despite the fact they were fully booked, Polly opened up a room so we'd have a place to stay. The price was great, it was clean, the location was perfect for what we needed, and we were just happy to have a place to sleep for the night. It was during one of the heatwaves, so it was boiling but we were comfortable. The shower was admittedly a little bit terrible, but I'm not sure if thats the case normally, as our room had to be specially opened up due to the booking error.

REVIEW JUST FOR THE PUB NOT HOTEL!!! Ate in the pub today for my leaving do with my work team after going there previously about 6 weeks ago and having a lovely time. Not this time sadly. The guy working, don't know his name but had a face piercing was very nice and funny. They didn't have the potato skins I was really looking forward to. Changed it for a fishfinger sarnie (same as my friend) and the bread (rubbish plain white) was stale. We both requested a change and asked for brown bread. Replaced with white minus the chips. 2 of my colleagues ordered the chicken wraps which they didn't eat thrm as they didn't like them. Another one had her 1st 2 attempts of order cancelled due to not having them. Very disappointing. Big 0 for the food today.

Diners like this pub's delicious and hearty food, including fish and chips and burgers, and appreciate the wide variety of drinks. They also highlight the welcoming atmosphere, excellent service from the staff, and good value for money.
Some reviews mention the service can be inefficient.
