About Hampton By Hilton London Docklands

ExCeL London, London City Airport and Canary Wharf are all within easy reach by DLR, making Hampton By Hilton London Docklands a practical base for exhibitions, flights or business in the city's financial district. The surrounding area also has pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, along with a golf course for those with time to spare.

The hotel has 209 rooms spread across seven floors, with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, family rooms and drinks available in-room. Many rooms look out over the marina, and the overall standard is smart and well kept. A lift serves all floors, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them.

Breakfast is included and there's a restaurant, bar and snack bar on-site, plus kids' meals for younger guests. A gym is open around the clock for early or late workouts, and business travellers are catered for with meeting rooms and business services. Laundry service and luggage storage are on hand, and on-site parking is available for a charge.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton, and what truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding customer service. A special thank you to Jyoti, who went above and beyond to help us. She was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect during our stay. Her warmth, patience, and willingness to assist made a lasting impression and turned a great hotel experience into an exceptional one. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, but Jyoti's exceptional service deserves special recognition. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Very disappointing stay. I would not choose this hotel again or recommend to anyone. The staff were not helpful and showed no understanding of any sort of our situation when we needed support. Instead of trying to assist or find solutions, we felt dismissed and not treated with basic hospitality when we requested for overnight luggage to be stored (as we had to go to another city out of London for 3 days and return to same hotel again later) and for extended checkout time due to our flight timings. The room was extremely congested and uncomfortable, especially for more than a short stay. It did not feel suitable for a relaxing hotel experience. But since the hotel fare was paid in advance, we could not cancel the 8 days fare that were paid already. They did not agree to refund us even when we complained about their service issues. Breakfast was another major disappointment. The exact same menu was served every day with almost no variety, which became frustrating during the stay. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations in terms of service, comfort, or guest experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because there is significant room for improvement.

I was booked here by BA due to a flight cancellation. The staff are friendly and kind. Standard hotel room with ensuite, but quite spacious for London standards. Comfy bed, good food. The only minus point is that there is nothing around the hotel and I had to travel to the last stop on the DLR Beckton to find a supermarket to purchase contact lens solution. Not the hotel's fault and the DLR is only a few hundred metres away, but still inconvenient if you forget something or are unexpextedly staying longer.

Nice hotel. Maybe perfect if you're visiting the Excel. We're not, so it's a bit out of the way. DLR gets us into the city fairly quickly. Hotel staff are nice. Breakfast staff we're a bit stressed and didn't look approachable. Breakfast was a 40mins limit. I thought that was unfair to put a time limit, but 40mins was ok for us. However I didn't see how they were enforcing it. Good luck asking my wife to stop while downing a sausage. Hotel is very clean and modern looking, if a bit basic. Perfect if you consider the price. View not that great. Car parking was £15 a day. I guess that's ok. All in all, a good hotel if the price is right for you. We would come back again.
