About Haymarket Hotel
Theatreland is on the doorstep at Haymarket Hotel, with Pall Mall and the National Gallery within easy walking distance, making it a natural base for a few days of shows, galleries and central sightseeing. The West End's restaurants, bars and entertainment venues cluster nearby too, so evenings need little planning.
The hotel itself has 50 rooms, individually styled and well finished, with air conditioning, mini bars and the kind of comfortable beds that make a difference after a day on your feet. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, and facilities extend to a gym, a garden, meeting rooms and business services for anyone mixing work with the visit. Brumus Restaurant handles breakfast and dinner, and reports from guests point to food worth lingering over rather than a quick refuel. The indoor swimming pool is a genuine highlight, large enough to actually swim in rather than just dip.
Service runs to concierge, porter and valet parking help, room service and laundry, plus childcare and packed lunches if needed - practical touches for families or business travellers alike. There's no on-site parking, so this suits those arriving by train or taxi rather than driving in. For a stay built around walking to the theatre and galleries and coming back to a proper pool, it does the job well.
What guests say
What a fantastic stay we had. The staff of the Haymarket Hotel really go out of their way to make this lovely place your ‘home away from home’. The front door staff are particularly fabulous in their ability to conjure cabs when there are none to be found. The front desk staff and the night managers could not have been more helpful. Our room was lovely - the Junior terrace one- was spacious enough for morning yoga. And you can’t beat having a lovely outdoor sitting area. I highly recommend it if available. The location is so close to the National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery that we could easily pop in either for a brief (and do-able!) 30 min visit at the end of the day. Also the bus lines are close and convenient. A super theatre location too. Finally, if there was a contest for the Best Bed in London, ours at the Haymarket would be at the top. The incredible mattress, fluffy pillows and thread counts were truly extraordinary.

I’ve stayed here twice with my daughter and can’t believe I’ve not written a review yet. Both times we came to London to celebrate her birthday and go to the theater. The Haymarket was the absolute best home base we could have asked for. The staff had a birthday treat waiting for her when we arrived. We had breakfast in our room each day and it was delicious. Beds are heavenly. Windows open for fresh air and the AC is amazing. Everyone greeted us warmly. Dinner in the restaurant was great too. The closet is so nicely organized and the tote they offer is so handy for shopping. Love the bath products too. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. When I left an important document in the room they mailed it to me. All the extra touches make this so special. Cannot wait to stay again!

July 15 2025 Sorry it took me so long to write this review. I never write reviews. Me and my husband were on a trip to Ireland and he surprised me with a trip to London on our anniversary to see Phantom of the Opera in London, which I had always wanted to see. When I was getting ready for the evening I got a hair brush stuck in my hair. So I called the front desk and she came up right away. It became a difficult challenge for her so she called who I believe was the head of housekeeping for assistance. Unfortunately I lost their names that I had written down, during our travels. These women were so exceptionally caring and helpful during my hair crisis as I thought I was going to have to cut the brush out of my hair. They were able to get the brush out with minimal damage and helped me to style my hair. There efforts turned a nightmare scenario into a fantastic evening at the show and a wonderful anniversary celebration. The front desk lady that helped me with my hair was so thoughtful that she had a hot oil treatment for my hair ready when I returned that evening. Thank you to these exceptionally compassionate and thoughtful women for making my stay so very special

Haymarket Hotel was exceptional. The service was warm and professional from the moment we arrived, the rooms were beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable, and the whole hotel has the perfect mix of luxury, style, and personality. The location is excellent — central and convenient, but the hotel still feels calm and private inside. One of the best hotel experiences we have had in London. We would absolutely stay here again.
