About hub by Premier Inn London Tower Bridge

The stretch of the City around Tower Bridge and the Tower of London is one of London's busiest sightseeing corners, and hub by Premier Inn London Tower Bridge puts guests right in the middle of it, on Great Tower Street with tube stations close by and no need for a car. There's no parking at the hotel, but public transport is the sensible way to get around this part of the capital anyway.

The hotel has 112 compact rooms across seven floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, drinks available in the room and free WiFi. Some rooms look out over the Thames, the Shard or the wider city skyline, though as with any well-used central hotel, a few rooms show their age and maintenance can be patchy. A lift serves all floors and accessible rooms are available. On site there's a restaurant and bar, breakfast is served each morning, and reception is staffed around the clock.

Beyond the front door, the Tower of London, riverside walks and the pubs, bars and restaurants of the surrounding streets are all within easy reach on foot. Staff are consistently noted for being helpful, and the location and pricing make it a practical base for exploring this part of London without paying for extras you won't use.

I stayed three nights on a solo business trip, and the standout of my stay was the care I received from Angela at the front desk, and at dinner, which she also served. Arriving alone in an unfamiliar city, you brace for the usual anonymous hotel experience; instead she made me feel like a genuinely valued guest rather than a room number. She checked me into a corner room with a lovely view, a small touch that set the tone for the whole stay. That level of attentiveness and professionalism is rare, and it is exactly what makes a guest want to return. A real asset to the hotel.

TERRIBLE. We stayed 10-13 July. The hottest days of the year. The air conditioning didn't work. We reported it the night we arrived. Man was useless on reception. Kept telling us he'd reset it and it didn't change. My mum never slept at all and we were both drenched. Reported it the next morning, told it would be fixed and the manager told. Got back that night still not working and the temperature even hotter. Rooms are tiny which is fine but there isn't a window that opens. I told the staff you wouldn't keep a dog in this room and she replied "yes it is a health hazard I'm sorry there is no where else we can move you". Two nights my mum never slept and I was very unsettled. Third night we were moved. I asked for our money back for the two nights we were disturbed. They've offered me a random figure which is no where near what it cost. Haven't had any money, haven't had any further reply. VERY POOR.

Slightly nervous after reading some of the reviews but had an incredible stay over marathon weekend 2026. Had a top floor room with a view of the Shard and the marathon course on the road outside. The room was compact but had everything we needed for a stay where we intended to be out and about most of the time. Bed was on the high side due to luggage storage underneath. Bathroom super clean and modern. Check in was smooth and efficient, with notes on my reservation asking for a view of the road honoured. Fob access to the lift area. All public areas clean. Breakfast was help-yourself pastries, toast, yoghurt, fruit, porridge which is quite basic but at £6 was excellent value. No tea or coffee in the rooms but pretty much every hot drink you could imagine available free to residents from the breakfast area. Goody bag for marathon runners on Sunday morning was a great touch! Rooms serviced on request, was great to get into a clean fresh bed after a long day running/supporting the marathon. No noise from the city heard in the room which was one my concerns. Reception team fabulous without exception, printed tickets out for a London attraction from an email that I'd forgotten to do at home. Location could not be beaten - 5 mins from tube in 2 directions, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, HMS Belfast, the Shard and London Bridge a short walk away. A fabulous weekend, thanks!

Firstly, as should be obvious from the website, the rooms are small. With that out of the way, otherwise this is a great place to stay. The staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful. Facilities are excellent, especially the breakfast, which is great value. Coffee and porridge are very good! Venue and location are ideal for a city break - garden at 120 for example, is only 10 minutes away. Been once before, will be back again. Mostly down to the lovely staff.
